2023 Mauritius Government Scholarship For African Students

This scholarship is open to resident citizens of member states of the African Union or African Commonwealth countries. It covers undergraduate, postgraduate, masters, and PhD studies, with full scholarships, stipends, and airfare tickets as rewards. The deadline for applications is May 26, 2023.
Applicants should apply to the Nominating Agency in their country of origin, which will select and nominate up to five candidates for undergraduate programs, indicating clearly the level of studies for each nominated candidate. The Nominating Agency of the country of citizenship of the candidates, or the Ministry of Education, will subsequently transmit the application forms to Mauritius.
To be eligible, applicants must be above 18 years of age and should not have reached their 26th birthday by 01 January 2024 for undergraduate programs, and should not have reached 40 years by 01 January 2024 for PhD programs. Applicants must have already applied for a full-time on-campus program (Diploma, Degree, MPhil or PhD) at a public Higher Education Institution in Mauritius for the academic year starting in 2023.
The application form must be filled electronically and printed, with Section 5 endorsed and completed by the Nominating Agency in the country of citizenship of the applicant. The application can only be made through the Nominating Agency responsible for the processing of scholarships in the applicant's country of citizenship.
