RNTC is the internationally renowned training centre of RNW Media, providing training and coaching in media and capacity strengthening for social change. They go beyond traditional journalism, media and campaigning, combining research and powerful theory, professional practice and creative innovation.

Through their partnership with Nuffic Global Development, RNTC is able to offer scholarships to media-makers in restrictive settings who use media for social change and create social impact. This scholarship is available to professionals from a variety of partner countries, making it an excellent opportunity for international students.

The scholarship covers the full cost of your travel and visa (if required), accommodation and meals, insurance, and the course fee. This means that the scholarship is fully-funded and you won't have to worry about financial constraints during your studies or training in the Netherlands.

To be considered for the scholarship, you must be a professional journalist, programme-maker, broadcast trainer, or manager coming from the eligible countries. The eligible countries include all countries, so regardless of your nationality, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

There are two scholarship programmes available: the Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) and the MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP). The OKP is available to 53 countries, and the MSP is available to 10 countries. You can find the list of eligible countries on the RNTC website.

The scholarship is open to postgraduate students, as well as those interested in training or fellowships. The courses offered by RNTC include investigative journalism, media campaigns, producing media to counter radicalisation, and using media for development. These courses are designed to equip you with the skills you need to make a positive impact in your field.
