Nanyang Technological University Scholarships For International Students



Are you an outstanding student with a passion for leadership and a track record of co-curricular excellence? If so, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore has an exciting opportunity for you! The university is offering full scholarships to international students pursuing undergraduate degrees in any of its colleges.

Nanyang Scholarship recognises students who excel academically, demonstrate strong leadership potential, and possess outstanding co-curricular records. The scholarship covers full tuition fees, a living allowance of S$6,500 per academic year, up to S$2,000 accommodation allowance per academic year (applicable to scholarship holders who reside in NTU hostels only), a travel grant of up to S$5,000 for an overseas programme (subject to terms and conditions in the Travel Grant Form), and a one-time computer allowance of S$1,750. This scholarship does not have a bond attached to it apart from the three-year bond applicable to all Singapore PRs and international students under the MOE Tuition Grant Scheme.

NTU Singapore is a research-intensive public university with 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students in its colleges of Engineering, Business, Science, and Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, and its Graduate College. The campus is frequently listed among the Top 15 most beautiful university campuses in the world. NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine was established jointly with Imperial College London.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be open to all nationalities and must possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ level, Diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications. You must also have excellent co-curricular records, strong leadership qualities and potential. The scholarship is open to all countries.

If you are interested in applying, submit an online application form, a personal essay of not more than 300 words, a recent passport-size photo (digital image), a referee’s appraisal or reference letter, and your Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level. Only shortlisted applicants will be informed via email by mid-May and will be required to attend an interview at short notice.

Please note that scholarship holders must not, without the approval of the University, hold concurrently any other scholarships, bursaries, university loans or awards, and must maintain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 over 5.0. Academic performance will be reviewed every semester, and the scholarship may be withdrawn at any time if, in the opinion of the University, the scholarship holder’s progress or behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory. If the scholarship holder decides to terminate the scholarship prematurely, a repayment will be imposed.
