Students enrolled in professional degree programs, joint degree programs, and English-taught programs are not eligible to apply.
The scholarship is categorized into two categories: a full scholarship, which covers tuition fees, monthly stipend (including living allowance), and medical insurance; and a partial scholarship, which only covers tuition fees. The monthly stipend varies based on the level of study, with undergraduate students receiving 2000 CNY/month, postgraduate students receiving 2500 CNY/month, and PhD students receiving 3000 CNY/month.
Interested and eligible applicants should apply through the PKU Online Application System (http://www.studyatpku.com) by clicking on "Scholarship Application" - "New Student", filling in the application form, and submitting it before the deadline of May 31, 2023. The committee will assess the applications and submit the list of selected candidates for final review. The list of successful candidates will be announced, and scholarship winners will have to undertake an annual appraisal in April annually to continue enjoying the scholarship for the following year.
