The MEXT scholarship is one of the few opportunities that cover all expenses, including tuition, travel, accommodation, and a monthly stipend of CHY 122,000 ($18,311). The University of Twente in the Netherlands is offering the University Twente Scholarship (UTS) for excellent students from non-EU/EEA countries who are applying for a Master's programme (MSc) at the university. The scholarship is valued between € 3,000 – € 22,000 for one year, and if the study programme is two years long, students may receive an additional UTS to cover expenses during the second year, provided they meet the process requirements for the scholarship.  In order to be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must have obtained an average grade of 7 (out of 10) at the end of the third quartile of the first year, and at least 50% of European Credits at the end of the third quartile of the first year.
